We are seeking a resourceful and hardworking individual to join our team as a Maintenance Manager. As the Maintenance Manager of Revelstoke, you will lead the daily maintenance for 3 unique properties while ensuring safety, quality, and guest satisfaction. You will be in a key leadership role, guiding a team of four assistants.
Salary: $57,000 - $70,000 based on experience
Full-time - Permanent – Weekend & Holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Motivate and build a cohesive team to ensure daily maintenance tasks are completed efficiently i.e Hot Tubs, landscaping, preventative room maintenance, contractor oversight
- Manage team schedules to ensure adequate coverage to run the properties efficiently with minimal downtime
- Ensure Hot Tubs maintenance is in accordance with H&S legislation and above the expected requirements
- Work closely with other departments to ensure properties are at their optimal performance
- Manage and oversee the continuous landscaping/snow removal to ensure properties esthetics is at the highest level
- Create and ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed
- Make improvements in processes to ensure efficiency to ensure guest satisfaction / increase volume of business and profit
- Responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly inspections of all properties and equipment
- Yearly close out units and perform a full repair of all walls, ceilings, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Proactive approach on guest comments/issues regarding disrepair, ensuring these are handled in a timely and professional manner meeting or exceeding guest expectations.
- Meets weekly with the Management Team to discuss the upcoming week, operations and presenting a maintenance brief.
- Be familiar with the operation and management of building maintenance
- Hot tub experience and certification is an asset; however, we will train
- Have well rounded skills to repair most items and knowing when to call in certified trades
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows – Outlook, Excel, Word
- A solid understanding of pricing, budgets, and cost controls
- Experience managing a team
