Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation.
  • Use schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot issues with equipment and infrastructure.
  • Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to maintain facility integrity.
  • Operate tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices to identify electrical faults accurately.
  • Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, and general repairs in residential or commercial settings.
  • Supervise junior team members or contractors during specific projects, ensuring safety standards and quality control are met.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Respond promptly to facility emergencies or breakdowns to minimize downtime and ensure safety compliance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong foundation in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Knowledge of schematics, technical diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures for complex equipment.
  • Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in manufacturing or building automation systems.
  • Experience working with CMMS software for scheduling and documenting maintenance activities.
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals fluently in English.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred for overseeing projects or teams.
  • Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal clients or external vendors.
