Description:
The Role:
The Maintenance Coordinator, is responsible for the provision of overall maintenance planning, scheduling and resourcing of activities on site, inclusive of preventative, corrective and break-down maintenance. The role plans, organises and coordinates the maintenance team and contractors (as required) to ensure all plant (fixed and mobile), equipment and buildings are maintained in a safe, reliable, efficient and cost-effective manner as well as Coordinating maintenance employees to ensure efficiency, safety and quality of workmanship.

The role is also responsible for execution of electrical (and instrumentation) activities for planned, corrective and break-down maintenance

Skills Required:
Electrical License
Proven experience in the Manufacturing industry or similar in a Maintenance role.
The ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
Strong knowledge and focus of Safety aspects of maintenance
Possess a high level of computer skills – MS Excel, MS Word and Inventory and Sales System (typically ABM)
Strong written and verbal communications skills
High work ethic, practical, action orientated person
Ability to interact with all levels of staff, management, directors and external contacts
Strong organisational skills
Attention to detail
