The regions busiest tourism destination, the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery, requires a hands-on and experienced Maintenance Person who will be responsible for the maintenance of our buildings and equipment.
The Chocolaterie is located at Yarra Glen, 15 minutes from Lilydale with 40 acres of landscaped grounds and orchards, 300-seat all café, stunning retail showroom, chocolate production and in-house ice creamery the Chocolaterie is open 7 days per week from 9am to 5pm.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Implementing our preventative maintenance program
- Repairing doors, walls, furniture and fittings.
- Investigating, repairing or seeking support from specialist trades for faulty freezers & fridges and equipment breakdowns.
- Repairs to our beautiful buildings
- Regular maintenance of water waste treatment plant and irrigation pumps
- Additional tasks in support of our 100 strong team including cleaning of outdoor areas, receiving deliveries of ingredients, and helping in our warehouses.
You will be confident, organised and an all-rounder with excellent attention to detail and a flexible attitude.
A full-time position with daytime shifts only, 5 days per week, 7am starts.
