Maintenance Team Member - Full Time

Due to some really exciting projects coming up, we are now looking to add to our current maintenance team by hiring a maintenance team member to join us on our next adventure! You will help to look after our ClinkMama and ClinkCoco Hostels and support our ClinkNOORD day to day maintenance requests delivering the smooth running of the hostels and their facilities and ensuring Clink Hostels continues to be a market leader. You will report directly to the maintenance manager but are responsible for carrying out your tasks independently once your task list has been received. You will start with basic daily routines but have the opportunity to get more responsibility and be involved in key projects.

Role Snapshot:
There is a lot of on the job learning in this role and as well as day to day preventative maintenance work for all our ClinkMAMA and ClinkCoco Hostels and ClinkNOORD. To be more specific, 80% of the role will be based in ClinkMama and ClinkCoco Hostels with the other 20% suporting projects in ClinkNOORD. We offer either 5 days working week in this role, with working hours approximately from 10am to 6pm as the business needs. This role would be perfect for someone who thrives on achieving results, takes accountability for their tasks and has the guest experience as a key focus.

Reporting to the Cluster Hostel Manager, some of your key accountabilities will be:

  • Be part of routinemaintenance work throughout both properties as detailed on work schedules andHotel kit, or as directed by the Manager.
  • Diagnose and complete any repairand maintenance tasks to a high-quality including plumbing, joinery andcarpentry, painting/decorating, and lighting
  • Complete any routine tests toensure H&S compliance such as annual PAT testing, inspections of emergencylighting, weekly fire alarm tests and fire evacuations
  • Ensure that all works are conducted in line with risk assessments and relevant regulations including Working at Height, legionella, COSSH, and Manual Handling do floor walks, check fire exits for obstructions

  • Full Time Contract: 38 hours per week (5 shifts)
  • Salary: € 2.800,00 euro per month
