Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, HVAC units, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust manufacturing equipment for optimal performance.
- Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to support equipment or facility modifications.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Lead or assist with facilities maintenance projects such as residential painting or structural repairs while supervising junior team members when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain inventory of parts and tools necessary for repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
Skills
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot circuits using tools like ohmmeters.
- Mechanical knowledge including the ability to read schematics and perform repairs on various machinery components.
- Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Skilled in welding techniques for fabrication or repair purposes.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices including HVAC systems, plumbing, painting, and general building upkeep.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a keen eye for detail in diagnosing issues quickly.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing; leadership experience is a plus for supervising team members.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
