The Maintenance Technician in a food company is responsible for supporting the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of food processing equipment. This includes assisting with equipment calibration, ensuring machinery operates efficiently and safely, and reducing downtime in production. The role also involves monitoring system performance, following food safety standards , and working closely with engineers and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
This role requires a qualification in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering . The role requires essential skills such as project planning, budgeting, infrastructure analysis, and electrical systems knowledge — all of which are highly applicable to managing and maintaining industrial facilities within the food sector. The candidate should have experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and utilities, as well as in reading and interpreting technical drawings, construction plans, and electrical schematics. Knowledge of budgeting and cost estimation, project scheduling, and resource planning is also important, especially for coordinating facility upgrades or equipment installation
Working hours are basic 39 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €38,000.00-€42,000.00 per year
