Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other facility equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes swiftly.
• Conduct appliance repairs and service technician tasks across various systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, valves, pumps, and electrical wiring to restore equipment functionality.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
• Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams during new installations or upgrades.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs for compliance and future reference.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and technical manuals essential for troubleshooting complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration equipment is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, construction processes, and general maintenance practices.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools and repair equipment safely and efficiently.
• Leadership skills to guide team members or coordinate with contractors during maintenance projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an energetic approach to tackling diverse technical challenges.
