Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and safety of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of equipment and systems. Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other facility equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes swiftly.
- Conduct appliance repairs and service technician tasks across various systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, valves, pumps, and electrical wiring to restore equipment functionality.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
- Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams during new installations or upgrades.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs for compliance and future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and technical manuals essential for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration equipment is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, construction processes, and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools and repair equipment safely and efficiently.
- Leadership skills to guide team members or coordinate with contractors during maintenance projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an energetic approach to tackling diverse technical challenges.
