Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring that all facilities are operating efficiently, maintaining a safe environment for both staff and tenants.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment, repairs and installations.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities..
- Oversee and guide junior technicians or apprentices, providing leadership and training as necessary.
- Engage in residential painting projects when required to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
- Strong electrical experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in maintenance is preferred.
- Supervising experience is preferred for leadership roles within the team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
