Location: Hillegom, Netherlands

Reports to: Technical Department Leader

Shift Pattern: Alternating Morning (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) and Evening (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)

Join our team at Newell Brands, where innovation meets reliability in a fast-paced, production-driven environment! As a Maintenance Technician in our Hillegom plant, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that our machinery operates seamlessly, and our production processes run efficiently.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Keep our machines in top condition by performing both routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Troubleshooting and Improvements: Analyse machine errors, provide quick resolutions, and suggest enhancements to prevent future issues.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with supervisors and production teams to prioritize tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Efficiency Projects: Take part in improvement initiatives to optimize machine performance and contribute to factory success.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring all adjustments and repairs are well-documented.

What We’re Looking For:

• Language Skills: Proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Technical Expertise: Strong electrical skills, complemented by basic mechanical knowledge (electromechanics preferred). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is essential.
• Production Experience: Familiarity with production environments, including safety and quality standards.
• Versatility: Independent worker with excellent communication skills. Basic welding and grinding skills are a bonus.
