DESCRIPTION
Ensure completion of general repairs as well as preventive maintenance on Agency-owned/Agency-operated properties, general premises maintenance, repair and light construction tasks as assigned.
Skills needed:
Principles and methods of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and other such maintenance skills. Knowledge of basic vehicle mechanical systems and vehicle operational safety requirements. Lift up to 50 lbs. unaided. Use/Operate hand and power tools associated with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and vehicle repair/maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent; Minimum of two years of successful work experience in equipment, vehicle, building and property maintenance. Valid Illinois driver's license and Insurance.
