Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on building systems, equipment, and machinery. The ideal candidate will ensure that facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot and repair issues with machinery, equipment, and building infrastructure
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential problems
• Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and work orders
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
• 2+ years of experience in facility or equipment maintenance
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Proficiency with tools and maintenance equipment
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift up to [insert weight], climb ladders, and work in confined spaces

Preferred Certifications (Optional):

• HVAC, EPA, or Electrical certification
• OSHA 10/30 Certification
