Description:
Perfection Fresh Australia is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Homebush, Production, within the Commercial Operations department. This is a Permanent - Full Time position that offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to contribute to our dynamic team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment within the production facility. Your main tasks will include:

• Performing routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operations
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner
• Conducting regular inspections to identify potential faults or malfunctions
• Collaborating with other team members to address maintenance needs and priorities
• Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines while carrying out maintenance activities
• Assisting in the installation of new equipment and machinery as required
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and reporting any major issues to management
• Contributing to the development of preventive maintenance schedules and procedures

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with demonstrated experience in maintaining industrial machinery and MIG and Tig Welding experience. A proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are essential for success in this role. Skills and Experiences:

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or a similar role
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Relevant technical qualification or certification (e.g. electrician, etc.) would be advantageous
• Willingness to learn new technologies and techniques related to maintenance
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Flexibility to work shifts, including some weekends and public holidays if required
