About The Role

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN/ SUPERVISOR

Job Purpose: The position is responsible for ensuring that all GMP & Non GMP maintenance standards are maintained and monitored to ensure site is compliant and audit ready at all times. The role covers a wide variety of tasks with a team of multi nationals and roles.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day to day operations of the GMP, DOC cleaning staff & maintenance staff on site
  • Ensure all schedules are planned and executed correctly in line with site needs and requirements
  • Supervise all activities of the GMP, DOC cleaning teams and maintenance staff on site
  • Supervise all managed services on site and sub contractors management
  • Ensure all areas are kept to a high standard at all times.
  • Be a point of contact for all teams related issues
  • Have plans in place to ensure all areas captured in light of absenteeism or holidays
  • Hands on role, maintenance/ cleaning tasks to be self performed, as required
  • Advocate and develop a positive health and safety environment onsite
  • Manage all accidents and unsafe conditions/incidents in CAPA and advise the remedial action to be taken to prevent a reoccurrence.
  • Communicate in a timely manner all one point lessons to the team to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Manage and report on site safety metrics Good Saves, Incidents for the team
  • Generate backing data reports for the KPI, Dashboards & Monthly BFM monthly client reports
  • Carry out performance appraisals for direct reports
  • Engage with client on a daily basis and ensure smooth service delivery as requested
  • Maintain training records in line with site ITP and PLS systems
  • Carry out weekly team meetings and capture meeting minutes/actions
  • Ensure aging analysis reports of open work orders and generated and circulated to BFM leads
  • Carry out annual personal performance reviews with the team and ensure all staff have SMART goals and objectives

    Essential Experience, Skills and Personal Qualities:

  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
  • General maintenance experience
  • Shows creativity and courage in exploring new approaches Planning
  • Ability to empower and motivate others
  • Open to feedback, responds to coaching and is a skilled learner
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • High Sense of Responsibility
  • Strong leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and results oriented
  • Ability to prioritise your own work with excellent capability to multitask
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Encourages and supports collaboration across internal and external departments

    Required qualification/s and desired experience:

  • Engineering / Facilities Qualification Level 5 or above
  • Certified in planning would be advantageous but not essential
  • Good understanding of CMMS systems
  • 3-5 years’ experience in similar role
  • Very strong MS office package
  • Experience preferably in a multinational corporate environment
  • Demonstrated people and organizational leadership skills
  • Fluent English (oral and written)
