Summary of Position:

AMG Titanium, LLC in New Castle, Pennsylvania, has two (2) manufacturing facilities that produce a variety of metal alloys for a wide range of industries such as aerospace, energy, and electronics. The maintenance utility position is part of a team responsible for performing all maintenance tasks in support of the two manufacturing facilities and achievement of all business objectives.

Regular Work Schedule:

• Mon.- Thurs., 10 hour shift; (6 A.M -4 P.M.) - Primary Shift
• Occasional work on 2nd Shift (8 P.M. – 6 A. M) - Coverage or special Maintenance projects
• Occasional Scheduled Overtime for Preventive Maintenance
• Occasional Call-outs for unscheduled Maintenance

Primary Duties of Position:

• Duties are performed without constant supervision.
• Advanced level of skill and knowledge in equipment maintenance, including proficient diagnostics and repair of technically complex plant and equipment systems.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and maintenance tasks varying in magnitude.
• Fabricate and assemble parts and machinery.
• Install and maintain plumbing and fixtures.
• Order parts and materials.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of work performed.
• Plan and layout projects.
• Train personnel in safe and efficient use of equipment and processes.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and is a model for others to follow.
• Collect and input date into Maintenance Management/PM System.
• Sustain all lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Physical Inventory as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Location: New Castle, PA

Required Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or GED, minimum 2-year post-secondary trade school education in industrial electricity and/or mechanics or equivalent experience is preferred.

Years of Experience:

At least 2 years in an industrial maintenance setting.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• The ability to understand written and oral instructions and communicate with managers and coworkers.
• Have a forklift operator license or the ability to get a license with provided training
• Must be familiar with the types of equipment, operations, and processes at AMG Titanium, LLC
• Ability to support all aspects of safety programs
• Strong focus on quality and customers
• Ability to work with integrity in a team environment to achieve the business objectives
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational and planning skills
• Self-Motivated: high sense of urgency to achieve results
• Good problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in the use of personal computers including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn network applications
• Willingness to receive training and practice new procedures as situations require
• Ability to operate production equipment and mobile equipment with training
• Knowledge of production processes
• Knowledge and experience with lean, six sigma, and theory of constraints concepts preferred
• Knowledge and experience with ERP system preferred

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work at and travel between the 2 New Castle plants (approx. 1 miles apart), both located in Neshannock.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with personal protective equipment as required.
• Personal Protective Equipment provided as needed for noise and dust
• Must be able to wear a respirator
• Must be able to lift 33 lbs.
• Must be able to work any shift and overtime
• Must be able to walk up and down stairs and to stand for extended periods of time
• Occasional outside work possible (typically less than 5%)
• Employee may work in extreme temperatures
