Job description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our high-volume restaurant operations in Fort Point. This is a crucial role responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our Host and Server departments, maintaining our exceptional standards of service, and driving sales. The ideal candidate will be a passionate leader with a proven track record in managing fast-paced bar environment
Responsibilities
- Team Scheduling: Create and manage host and server schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels for all shifts.
- Ordering: Place orders for front-of-house paper goods, plastic supplies, and smallware to maintain adequate stock.
- Lead and Inspire: Directly manage, train, and motivate our host and server teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Elevate Guest Experience: Ensure every guest receives impeccable service from arrival to departure, promptly addressing any concerns and exceeding expectations.
- Oversee Daily Operations: Supervise front-of-house activities, including reservations, seating, order accuracy, and timely service flow.
- Optimize Efficiency: Implement and maintain effective operational procedures to maximize efficiency and minimize wait times.
- Team Development: Conduct regular training sessions, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional growth of your team members.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the dining areas.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the kitchen staff and other management to ensure smooth communication and synchronized service.
- Problem Solve: Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges and guest issues with a calm and professional demeanor.
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
- Proven customer service experience as a manager
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
- Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Resy, Toast and Hot Schedules.
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Acute financial management skills
- BS degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
