Glamping Aboiteau is a unique coastal glamping resort dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences in a beautiful natural setting. We are seeking a versatile, hands-on Retreat Manager who enjoys wearing many hats and helping all aspects of the business run smoothly.

Position Overview

The Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring outstanding guest service while supporting administrative and property management functions. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable handling a wide variety of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services & Reservations

• Manage reservations and booking systems.
• Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Coordinate guest check-ins and check-outs.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience from booking through departure.
• Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally.

Staff Scheduling & Operations

• Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance schedules.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training.
• Ensure operational procedures are followed consistently.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.

Property Oversight & Light Maintenance

• Conduct routine property inspections.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers.
• Ensure facilities, grounds, and accommodations remain clean, safe, and guest-ready.

Marketing & Business Support

• Monitor online reviews and guest feedback.
• Assist with social media updates and promotional initiatives.
• Support special events and seasonal activities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, property management, or business administration.
• Fluently bilingual (English and French)
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Comfortable using reservation software, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based business tools.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
• Basic maintenance or handyman skills are considered an asset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
