THE ROLE

The Manager, Procurement Governance and Strategy supports the procurement function in the management of processes, procedures, templates, policies to support the procurement and funding frameworks. The role is also responsible for the management of department and inter-departmental reporting.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

• Strategically, develop and maintain the procurement and funding frameworks in alignment the Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB) and in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements.
• Oversee and administer the operation of the department's construction procurement governance framework.
• Manage a range of projects/functions each with budget, staff responsibilities or strategic importance.Provide advice, leadership and guidance based on advanced expertise related to procurement, funding, concessions, and contract services.
