Lead performance, strategy and value creation across a $1.2 billion portfolio of agricultural and natural capital assets.
Gunn Agri Partners was established in 2013 and provides agricultural investment and farm management services for Australian, North American and European investors.
Gunn Agri Partners manages over $1.2bn of assets and commitments managed across six investment platforms. Gunn Agri manages agriculture assets Australia wide in mixed farming, grains, grass fed protein, tree nuts, stone fruit and natural capital.
We are now seeking a Manager – Asset Management in a newly created role to support the operational and commercial performance of our investment platforms and agricultural assets, working collaboratively with senior leaders across investment, finance, natural capital, and operations.

About The Role
The Manager – Asset Management fulfills a key role in supporting the operational and commercial management of Gunn Agri Partners’ investment platforms and agricultural assets. The role is responsible for translating strategic asset management objectives into operational execution, while leading day-to-day asset management activities across the portfolio.
You will oversee asset performance monitoring, financial and operational reporting, and project coordination, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to support informed decision-making and value creation across our investment platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Analysis & Portfolio Performance
- Support the preparation and delivery of investment analysis, scenario modelling and commercial insights to inform decision-making
- Support acquisitions, divestments and capital raising activities
- Prepare investment reporting, recommendations and performance analysis
- Actively monitor asset performance and identify opportunities for value creation
- Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning, and portfolio management activities
Reporting & Asset Management
- Coordinate management, investor and operational reporting across platforms
- Oversee data collection, validation and performance reporting processes
- Maintain and enhance financial models and reporting frameworks
- Support benchmarking and portfolio performance initiatives
- Monitor compliance with reporting and governance requirements
Project Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead or contribute to strategic projects and asset management initiatives
- Partner with internal teams across finance, operations, natural capital and investment
- Coordinate external advisors, consultants and service providers
- Prepare reporting, presentations and recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Build strong relationships across operating businesses and investment platforms
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide guidance and support to analysts and junior team members
- Review outputs to ensure quality, accuracy and commercial rigour
- Support workflow management and team priorities
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture
About You
You are a commercially minded asset management or investment professional who enjoys combining analysis, strategy and stakeholder engagement to drive performance and outcomes.
You will bring:
- 5–7+ years’ experience in asset management, investment analysis, finance or a related field
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of performance drivers
- Experience leading projects and managing multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused and continuous improvement mindset
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
Experience within agriculture, agribusiness, natural capital, infrastructure, real assets or private markets will be highly regarded.
Professional qualifications such as CFA or CPA are advantageous but not essential.
