Are you a detail-driven, design-focused Brand Manager ready to elevate how a brand is brought to life across every touchpoint? At Optus, you’ll serve as a brand guardian, ensuring consistent, creative, and effective use of our visual identity, tone of voice, and brand system. You’ll work closely with designers, marketers, agencies, and internal teams to both guide best-practice application and the ongoing evolution of brand assets and help translate strategy into compelling brand experiences.

This role places you at not only the heart of the Optus Brand & Marketing team, but across the business more broadly, shaping how our brand is experienced daily from internal communications and digital assets to retail spaces, campaigns, product launches and more. You’ll collaborate with creative partners and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure every brand interaction is thoughtful, on-brand, and impactful.

What you'll be doing:
Translate brand strategy into practical, engaging assets across internal, retail, digital, and product channels.

Lead development and rollout of brand-aligned campaigns and communications.

Review and approve creative work to ensure consistency in visual identity, tone of voice, and sound.

Guide and support teams across the business in applying the brand with clarity and impact.

Build internal brand advocacy by educating teams on effective and meaningful brand use.

Collaborate with creatives, agencies, and cross-functional teams while managing brand governance and approvals.

What you’ll bring:
10+ years’ experience in brand, design, or communications with a strong track record leading creative/branded projects across digital, retail, and internal channels.

Deep understanding of brand systems, with strong design sensibility and the ability to apply and enforce brand guidelines effectively.

Skilled in storytelling, copy, and layout with a sharp eye for brand consistency and quality execution.

Confident collaborator and influencer, able to engage cross-functional stakeholders including product, HR, and exec teams.

Commercially minded with a customer-first approach, bringing brand strategy to life in clear, human-centred ways.

What you’re like

Pragmatic, fast-paced, and adaptable — able to deliver efficiently without compromising on quality.

Comfortable navigating ambiguity and bringing clarity and direction to teams.

A natural collaborator and influencer who enjoys guiding others and championing brand excellence across the business.
