Job Description:

  • Maintains compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Manages and administers assigned care units to ensure delivery of quality care.
  • Recruits, interviews, selects, and hires team members to maintain adequate coverage.
  • Administers and interprets personnel policies and procedures, including wage and salary.
  • Ensures appropriate orientation and training of new personnel.
  • Counsels team members for disciplinary and exemplary actions according to policy.
  • Submits and manages schedules to ensure appropriate department coverage.
  • Assesses staffing needs and collaborates to meet staffing standards consistently.
  • Utilizes clinical expertise and leadership skills to ensure efficient unit operations.
  • Implements the Quality Improvement plan in collaboration with department leadership.
  • Manages fiscal responsibilities to control costs within budgetary guidelines.
  • Participates in the development of new programs and services to improve department offerings.

Education:

  • Associate's [Required]
  • Bachelor's [Preferred]

Work Experience:

  • 5+ experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated leadership abilities; appropriate decision making with a history of positive interpersonal relationships with hospital team members, patients and visitors. [Required]


Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] OR Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) [Required] OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) [Required] OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) [Required] OR Cardiovascular Interventional Tech Cert (CVIT) [Required] OR Licensed Paramedic (PARA) [Required]
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

$76,607.58 - $163,866.38
