What you’ll Do:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement

• Drive to continuously improve team’s analysis approach and deliverables

• Partner with leadership to define and evolve how the analytics function operates within the business

• Guide the creation of data visualizations, reports, and data analyses, providing actionable insights and supporting decision-making for study teams and stakeholders

• Define and prioritize technical and business requirements of the team

• Mentor and coach colleagues and reports on data technologies, analysis approaches, best practices

• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, product and other business lines to support operational needs

• Drive optimization for scalability, efficiency and maintainability in a practical way

• Build relationships across the larger organisation, representing the analytics function with credibility and influence

• Ensure deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy, quality and usability

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrated leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and sustain team performance

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

• Candidates will come from a technology background with exposure to data management, data manipulation, data security, data storage

• Expertise in developing reports, dashboards and visualizations using moder BI tools and web technologies

• Data representation – information/schema design, on relational and non-relational database systems

• Good knowledge of global data regulations (GDPR, HIPAA) and how to design compliant processes and systems

• Strong customer, product, and design orientation, with a focus on actionable outcomes

• Ability to work independently under pressure, managing multiple projects with transparency and accountability

• Collaborative mindset with experience working effectively in team environments

• Technical proficiency in SQL and related tools; comfortable operating in technically challenging contexts

• Dedicated self-starter, proven ability to efficiently and professionally work on multiple projects to tight deadlines

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

• Note: Regrettably we cannot offer work permit sponsorship for this role. To be considered, you must currently be based in Ireland and already hold the necessary legal permissions to work here.

Qualifications Required:

• Proven success leading and managing high-performing teams

• Experience engaging with senior leadership and executive stakeholders

• 8+ years working with data and business analytics, ideally with a focus in a digital or regulated environment

• Familiarity with BI concepts and tools (e.g., Data Warehousing, ETL, Tableau, or similar); opportunity to influence future toolset decisions

• Undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, MBA or a related discipline

• Experience working in international or multi-site environments

• Advantage: Experience working in a regulated industry (ideally clinical research) or early-stage technology companies
