Summary:
This is a managerial role that requires you to manage the day-to-day operations of the Distribution Support team. It is a client-facing role that requires you to work closely with colleagues across functional and geographic boundaries to carry out distribution activity across the EEA for a number of our asset management clients within a clear regulatory framework. An understanding of the regulatory landscape in the EEA as it relates to distribution is a distinct advantage.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead client calls during the onboarding phase ensuring that clients have a positive experience transitioning into the Waystone model.
- Lead regular meetings with clients to ensure service deliverables are consistently met
- Work with clients’ product experts within the regulatory framework to:
- complete jurisdictional analyses of target markets and agree investor types and classification
- formulate investor query responses
- Manage the process for approval of clients’ marketing materials.
- Ensure all activity is being carried out in accordance with the team’s written policies and procedures. Ensure the team’s procedures and processes are maintained to a high standard.
- Lead the annual review of policies and procedures to ensure they are updated to current processes.
- Train and support members of the team in their daily activity. Ensure staff are regularly updated with changes in the market / regulatory environment.
- Act as the escalation point for clients and team members, proactive problem solving to prevent further escalation.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure Board and Risk Committee approvals for new clients are received and retained on file.
- Liaise with compliance and risk teams to ensure that all activity records are maintained and kept to a high standard.
- Ensure staff completion of monthly and quarterly tasks and that the team maintains its regulatory obligations.
- Provide MIS stats to management on a regular basis
- Support senior management to execute on key initiatives as required.
REQUIREMENTS

Education:
- Third level, minimum B.A. degree
Experience:
At least 6 years’ experience working with international clients and with exposure to alternative UCITS and AIFs, ideally within a sales support or regulatory support team for an asset manager or fund service provider.
An understanding of the regulatory landscape in the EEA as it relates to distribution is a must and working knowledge of another European language would be a plus.
You should be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Strong organisational skills, particularly an ability to prioritise multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining attention to detail

- Proactive problem resolution and an ability to independently manage tasks
- High levels of personal integrity and client service
- An ability to combine an understanding of local markets within the wider business & regulatory context
- Self-motivation and confidence
- Minimum B.A. degree, preferably within a finance-focused curriculum.
- Solid computer skills particularly in Salesforce, or similar CRM system, Excel and PowerPoint
