We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager In Training (MIT) to lead our sales team and drive business growth. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets across multiple sectors such as B2B, technology, and technical sales.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure high levels of performance, engagement, and professional development.
  • Oversee outside sales efforts, including prospecting new clients and expanding existing accounts through effective account management.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align campaigns with sales objectives and enhance brand visibility.
  • Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to monitor pipeline activity, forecast sales, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Drive business development initiatives by identifying new market opportunities and building strategic partnerships.
  • Negotiate contracts and proposals with clients to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Provide leadership in customer service excellence by ensuring client needs are met efficiently and professionally.
  • Conduct analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and internal data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training, coaching, and leadership development.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a strong track record of exceeding targets.
  • Demonstrated management skills with experience leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in marketing strategies related to sales growth and business development.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for pipeline management and analysis.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals effectively.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and innovation.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
  • Knowledge of technical sales processes and industry-specific solutions is preferred.
