Manager, Manufacturing Engineering (Power Products)

OUR ROLE

At Fiskars, we are shaping the future of everyday living through innovative and sustainable products in gardening and cooking categories. As a Manager Manufacturing Engineering you will play a key role in developing and strengthening our global supply chain capabilities for power consumer products.

You will work at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, and product development, collaborating closely with external suppliers to ensure our products are designed and delivered efficiently, competitively, and with consistently high quality across global markets.


This position is based in Espoo or Billnäs, Finland and reports to the Director Manufacturing Engineering. The role is full-time and follows a hybrid working model, with moderate travel required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS

Responsibilities:

  • Lead supplier technical validation and develop a strong global supplier network.

  • Lead and develop Design for Manufacturing (DfM) and Design to Cost (DtC) capabilities in new product development projects.

  • Lead new product introduction (NPI) projects for critical product launches.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including external partners, supply chain, product function, and factories.

  • Support make-or-buy decisions based on business and technical requirements.

  • Solve complex technical challenges to improve product quality, cost, and supply chain resilience.

  • Strengthen manufacturing capabilities and drive continuous improvement.

WHO YOU ARE

Experience:

  • Degree in Electronics engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.

  • 7+ years’ experience in engineering within electronics, power products, consumer products and/or NPI management.

  • Strong understanding of various manufacturing technologies is an advantage.

  • Background in consumer power tools, battery technology is seen as a strong advantage.

  • Experience with relevant hardware and embedded software technologies used in power products.

  • Experience working with suppliers and global partners.

  • Ability to collaborate across teams, cultures, and functions.

  • Analytical and structured approach combined with a problem-solving mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.
