Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
In your role as a Motor segment Manager, you’ll develop and execute the annual growth strategy for our segment, drive P&L performance, meet financial and non-financial targets (for the motor segment and the Consumer Brands portfolio.
You’ll design go-to-market propositions for revenue growth and customer acquisition and collaborate across the value chain is essential to ensure successful market launches. Utilizing data and customer insights, you’ll optimize products and propositions. Ensuring compliance with risk and regulatory frameworks and fostering a strong risk management culture are key responsibilities. If you excel in strategic development and customer-focused growth, we want to hear from you!
This is a permanent full-time role, and you can be based out of any of our offices across New Zealand.
Ōu Pūkenga | About You
To excel in this role, you should ideally have:
- Extensive experience in leading a P&L, including strategic planning and execution
- Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of insurance P&L
- Proven track record in delivering customer and commercial outcomes
- Direct experience in insurance, with a comprehensive understanding of the full value chain
- Expertise in budget forecasting and business case development
- Ability to build strong working relationships across teams and departments within IAG
- Demonstrated capability in managing complexity, ambiguity, and adapting to change A desired understanding of product design thinking and development principles
