Philip Morris Finland Oy — an affiliate of Philip Morris International (PMI), is an international FMCG company whose main products are various nicotine products, such as nicotine pouches, e-cigarettes, heated tobacco products and cigarettes. PMI is evolving its portfolio for the long term and is working to deliver a smoke free Nordics by 2035.
About the role
The Manager National Key Accounts is accountable for the sales in Finland and the KA strategy over long- and short term in relation to objectives set. You will establish and maintain excellent relations with Key Account (KA) decision makers and key stakeholders to optimize our position at retail. You will take ownership for the total Finnish business in retail channel by proposing ideas, strategies and actions supporting the overall business direction.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding customer experience within the channel and for achieving channel P&L, commercial performance and NPS, deploying commercial programs, projects and initiatives. Drive ongoing optimization of channel performance and operational effectiveness.- Design, agree and introduce account management framework and processes to guide and empower KA customers towards sustainable business results and establish relationships founded on goodwill and profitable partnership. Plan and lead negotiations with National Key Accounts to agree on mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Lead and mentor KA team towards excellence and develop and maintain excellent relations with all relevant stakeholders internally and externally.
- As a member of PMI Finland management team contribute to the affiliate’s long and short term strategies and plans.
Who you are:
- Minimum 7 years of experience, specifically in key accounts preferably in FMCG or retail. Experience from other sales functions and/or cross functional moves would be an advantage.
- Experience in leading, motivating and developing people and teams.
- Proficiency in English and Finnish.
- Validated experience of successfully transforming strategic insights into commercial initiatives.
- Confirmed experience of working in multi-category business.
- Very good strategic height and good analytical ability but can work with details when required.
- Excellent stakeholder management and experience of creating cross-functional success.
