Role Overview

The Manager of Field Operations & Client Experience is responsible for the leadership, performance, and continuous improvement of the company’s field operations.

This is a leadership role that requires operational discipline, financial awareness, and a strong commitment to execution excellence. The successful candidate will oversee technician deployment, service quality, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency to ensure all projects and maintenance services are delivered:

  • On schedule
  • Within budget
  • In alignment with New Earth Solutions’ premium brand standards

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Operations Leadership

  • Lead and manage day-to-day field operations across active markets.
  • Oversee technician scheduling, workload planning, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure all installations and maintenance services are delivered on time and within approved budgets.
  • Maintain high quality standards across all projects and service visits.
  • Support training and performance development of field teams.

2. Client Experience & Communication

  • Serve as the primary operational contact for post-installation and maintenance clients.
  • Ensure client requests and service updates are communicated clearly and resolved promptly.
  • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction and retention metrics.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and leadership teams to align client expectations with field execution.

3. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Review field reports and service documentation to identify required follow-up actions.
  • Ensure corrective work, scope adjustments, and service improvements are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Identify operational trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Support the implementation of standardized operating procedures across all markets.

4. Performance & Financial Oversight

  • Monitor labor utilization, scheduling efficiency, and service delivery performance.
  • Track estimated versus actual hours on projects and service work.
  • Support margin protection through disciplined execution and cost awareness.
  • Participate in regular operational reviews with the leadership team.

Success Indicators

  • High rate of on-time and on-budget project and service delivery.
  • Improved client satisfaction and retention scores.
  • Efficient technician utilization and resource planning.
  • Clear documentation and timely resolution of service issues.
  • Strengthened operational consistency across all markets.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in field operations, construction management, landscaping, or service-based industries.
  • Self starter attitude
  • Proven experience managing teams, coordinating field crews, and successfully delivering projects.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable balancing rigorous operational execution with client-facing responsibilities.
  • Financial awareness and experience monitoring project budgets or service margins.
  • Valid G driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with green infrastructure systems, irrigation, horticulture, or related fields.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Asana, Procore, Discord, Jobber.
