About the Role

We are looking for a skilled professional with 4–6 years of experience in payroll operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations in accordance with applicable local labor laws across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in managing complex payroll systems and compliance requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process for all employees across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, including wages, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and benefit contributions.
  • Review, monitor, and implement new legislation to ensure compliance across all operating jurisdictions.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable local payroll, wage, and labor laws, including tax reporting and filings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on various payroll processes, compliance, and reporting.
  • Administer year-end payroll activities, including statutory filings and regulatory submissions.
  • Address employee queries promptly and professionally. Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding payroll, fund planning, social insurance, and taxation.
  • Manage vendor relationships with payroll service providers.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for end-to-end payroll processes.

  • Strong knowledge and thorough understanding of applicable local labor laws across multiple jurisdictions, with a willingness to continually learn and achieve proficiency.

Required Competencies


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance & accounting, Business, or related field.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in processing payroll across multiple jurisdictions, including payroll tax, labor laws, and social security filings.
  • Familiarity with outsourced service provider models for payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products, especially Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Payroll-related diploma or certificate is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; able to convey information effectively to diverse stakeholders with confidence.
