We are looking for a Manager, PDM Sales Items/GTM to join our Operations team in Oulu, Finland. This is a pivotal role within our Operational PLM Team, taking ownership of our Product Data Management (PDM) system for Go-To-Market (GTM) processes.
This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our sales item data across the product lifecycle. In this position you will lead the sales item creation process with a dynamic team, streamline data processes, and serve as a key liaison between various departments, including product management, retail, partnerships, supply chain, packaging sites and other related business units.
To succeed in this position, you should have ambition for precision. You have an ability to gather comprehensive information and effectively distill it into actionable data for IT system execution. You know the principles of BOM/Revision and Engineering Change Management. You use new IT systems with ease. Organized ways of working and understanding the process-driven actions will give you good starting points for this position. You also communicate fluently in a peer environment to complete your assignments as planned.
What You will do:
- Sales Item SKU Portfolio Management in PDM
- Act as the primary owner for the PDM system related to GTM strategies, ensuring system configuration aligns with GTM needs and driving continuous improvement
- Oversee the entire product (SKU) portfolio within the PDM system, ensuring data accuracy and collaborating on new product integration and changes
- Lead the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of Sales Item Bill of Materials (BOMs) in PDM, ensuring they reflect product configurations for efficient manufacturing and packaging
- Lead the ECM process for all sales items, managing change requests, approvals, and implementation to ensure data integrity
- Actively manage and control the entire product lifecycle within the PDM system, including defining and enforcing lifecycle statuses (LC Statuses).
- ERP Transfer Process: Manage and execute the seamless transfer of product data from PDM to the ERP system, ensuring data integrity
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the Product Data Coordination, managing workloads, setting priorities, and conducting performance reviews.
We would love to have You on our team if You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product data management, master data management, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in managing product portfolios and BOMs.
- Strong understanding of Go-To-Market (GTM) processes and product lifecycle management.
- Proven experience with PDM/PLM systems
- Previous experience in a team leadership or supervisory role is highly preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems
- Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management principles.
- Fluent in English
