Centacare North Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation that provides counselling, family support, mediation, family dispute resolution, disability services, education and courses, crisis housing and homelessness support, youth services, community engagement and NDIS services. Centacare services the North Queensland community from offices in Townsville, Ayr, Bowen, Mt Isa, Cloncurry, Longreach and Normanton.
Counselling Intervention Service (CIS) / ROSA are state government funded services that provide counselling and support to families referred by the Department of Child Safety, Seniors and Disability Services. The core aim of the program is child centred services to support children to grow and thrive in a home environment that is stable, safe and responsive.
BRIDGE Family Support service: an early intervention program aimed at supporting healthy family relationships, through provision of community and in-home support for families in the local region.

Joining a values-driven, supportive and inclusive team, you will:
Provide leadership and oversight of daily Operations of Bridge, ROSA and CIS programs across the Organisation, including provision of performance development, practice direction, staff support, supervision and mentoring, program data and information collection in line with best practice and program requirements.
Plan, develop, implement and evaluate strategies for operational management and development of the Townsville Bridge and ROSA programs to meet agreed organisational performance goals and objectives.
Ensure appropriate and accurate reporting is carried out.
Operational oversight of program practices and service delivery to maintain integrity of program deliverables in line with legislation, funding body and organisational requirements.
Work collaboratively with all levels in the organisation, seek out and share best practice strategies and approaches to service delivery across NQ Region.
Maintain strong productive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders including peers, funding body representatives, community partners and stake holders,
Patriciate and provide platforms for continuous development and information sharing.

Skills and Experiences:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Psychology, or Behavioural Sciences and minimum of 5 years’ experience in social or community services management.
- Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating program operational plans.
- Ability to support, guide and manager staff in remote regions, focused upon a collaborative approach to service delivery across the Townsville and Mount Isa regions and in accordance with Departmental requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in program and team management and experience in applying contemporary management processes relevant to program and organisational goals.
- A current:
- Drivers’ Licence
- Appropriate Blue Card
- Disability Worker Screening (Yellow Card) or be eligible to obtain one
