About the role
The Manager, Safety and Quality will lead and manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of safety and quality initiatives designed to enhance the safety, quality, compliance, risk management and governance of ATSICHS Brisbane. This role is pivotal in supporting the strategic priorities of the organization, with a particular emphasis on fostering a culture of compliance, ethics and quality within the organisation.

Duties
Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of safety, quality, risk management, organisational policy, regulatory and statutory compliance, and governance.
Develop and implement operational strategy, operational plans and budgets in line with ATSICHS Brisbane Strategic Plan.
Define, develop and maintain your team's Service Level Agreement (SLA), and lead a culture supporting a holistic Corporate Service approach to service delivery.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with staff, managers and external partners, including other health services and other relevant institutions.
Establish and optimise evaluation frameworks to measure the effectiveness of your team's operations.
Lead the adoption of innovative safety & quality technologies and methodologies.
Demonstrate personal attributes, relationships, results, business enablers, and people management skills related to the role.

Benefits
Base Salary of $128,515 per annum (Based on qualification and experience).
Additional 12% Super + access to salary packaging (Increases your take home pay).
Permanent Full-Time position.

Skills and Experiences:
COVID-19 Requirement
Immunisation history showing you have received two doses of a Covid -19 vaccine is encouraged.
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Management, Health or related field.
Minimum five (5) years' experience in senior level Safety, Quality, Compliance, Risk management or related role.
Demonstrated effective leadership skills, including the ability to lead change and achieve business outcomes.
Extensive knowledge of, and experience in, the management of statutory compliance, risk management, governance, and safety management program.
A high level of communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to build relationships and influence others effectively.
Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
Ability to apply a high level of critical thinking and personal insight to work situations.
Desirable
Postgraduate degree in related field.
Additional Requirements
National Police Certificate.
Current Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply.
Current Disability Worker Screening Card (Yellow Card) or be eligible to apply.
Driver's Licence.
Evidence of Work Rights.
Travel between work sites on a regular basis.
