This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 3 days minimum per week in the London or Zurich offices.
The Manager, Sales Enablement, Wealth Product Management will be responsible for overseeing the creation and updating of written content for our evergreen fund business including RFPs, DDQs, sales enablement requests and client service requests. The goal is to deliver and maintain high quality and accurate written content that meets deadlines.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Has a strong understanding of private market evergreen vehicles or liquid strategies, and a has deep knowledge of private markets and the private wealth market.
- Has experience creating and supervising the development of sales enablement (RFP) materials for private wealth and / or liquid strategies bringing to bear knowledge of market trends and the competitive landscape.
- Has project management expertise to deliver content on time.
- Has the ability to work effectively in a cross functional and highly matrixed environment.
- Has strong relationship skills to partner closely with fellow HarbourVest professionals.
- Is proficient in supervising a team that is geographically dispersed.
- Has an entrepreneurial approach, with a change-management mentality and comfort working in an area that may not always have established precedents.
What you will do:
- Lead a distributed team focused on written RFP content.
- Have overall accountability for crafting the written narrative of our evergreen products and improve the intellectual property of the message we are communicating.
- Be responsible for the integration of RPF work into Wealth Product Management, which will include designing new process and building out capabilities to our leverage technology solutions to their full capabilities.
- Lead the build out of the Wealth content architecture within Loopio, our RFP management tool; create, apply and maintain appropriate merge variables across library, and build and maintain templates to drive automation.
- Develop RFP workflow processes which could include kick off calls, staffing and peer reviews, bringing to bear technology where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively across functions and levels to build processes that maximize the RFP content system functionality, increase efficiency for team members, and reduce risk in response documents and template creation process
- Lead the review of content across our content library with consistent standards, training and oversight to improve the quality of library content.
- Be responsible for all aspects of the development and evolution of written wealth content: sales enablement requests, fundraising inquiries, client service requests, and internal talking points. Using deep product and wealth expertise, this individual will be leading all aspects of both the development of new responses to client / prospect questions and RFPs and bringing to bear existing content.
- Understand what success looks like and create KPIs to measure not just volumes and turnaround times but outcomes.
- Be responsible for the implementation and improvement of technology solutions including Loopio to improve efficiency, automation and end to end processes.
- Operate within a client/ prospect first orientation: the goal is to deliver high quality responses and content that meets client/ prospect deadlines.
- Work alongside compliance to develop written content in line with compliance requirements, maintaining appropriate documentation.
Education Preferred:
Strong academic and professional credentials. MBA and / or CFA preferred, but not required.
Experience:
8-12 years of RFP, product specialist, product marketing, or sales enablement roles for evergreen vehicles or liquid strategies.
