To further enhance its mission and expand its reach, the National Museum of Singapore is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Partnerships to bolster its fundraising and partnership efforts with various stakeholders, including museum patrons, corporate partners, and community organisations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the cultural landscape of Singapore while working within a vibrant team dedicated to fostering public engagement with history and heritage.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising: Responsible for developing and implementing strategic fundraising initiatives to secure financial support for the museum's exhibitions, programs, and ongoing operations.
Partnership Development: Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to create strategic partnerships that enhance the museum's programs and outreach efforts.
Project Management: Lead and manage partnership and minor fundraising projects from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with the museum's goals and objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop initiatives that promote community involvement and educational opportunities at the museum.
Networking: Attend events and meetings to represent the museum, building a network of contacts that can support future collaborations.
Reporting: Prepare reports on fundraising activities, outcomes, and impact for internal stakeholders and funding bodies.
Qualifications
Experience : Background in Communications, Business Administration, Arts Management, Cultural Studies, or a related field and preferably 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in fundraising, project management, and stakeholder engagement preferably within a cultural or non-profit organization.

Proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns and meeting financial targets Self-motivated and driven to pursue targets despite obstacles and challenges Creative thinker with a knack for problem solving Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage diverse groups including:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and presentations
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
Knowledge of Singapore's cultural landscape and passion for preserving national heritage
Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends for events Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
