Description:
About the Role

  • We are seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join our Tax Services team.
  • You will lead engagements and build trusted relationships with mid-market clients across diverse industries, delivering strategic advisory and compliance solutions while driving value and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • We provide tailored training and support, to deepen your expertise in technical tax areas, and help you thrive as your career progresses.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Building and maintaining excellent client engagement and relationships through trusted advisory and proactive support
  • Working directly with tax partners to provide a broad range of value adding advice and services including assistance with ATO risk reviews and audits, transfer pricing reporting and general advice pieces across a broad range of tax matters
  • Preparation and/or review of Private Binding Rulings
  • Review of Tax Effect Accounting Calculations and Consolidated Income Tax Returns
  • Review of Fringe Benefit Tax Returns
  • Review of quarterly tax update sides and other client communications
  • Assistance with the preparation and/or review of R&D tax incentive applications
  • Assisting in the delivery of technical training for the Tax Services division
  • Consulting to various internal divisions regarding taxation matters
  • Proactive management of workflow to achieve client service standards
  • Develop junior team members through regular guidance, coaching and supervision to build a high-performing, client-focused team.
Skills and Experiences:
What Makes You ‘Just Right’

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting (or similar) and progression towards/completion of CA, CPA, CTA, or MTax qualifications.
  • Experience in tax/accounting experience working with business clients
  • Prior experience within a big four or mid-tier Tax Division will be highly regarded
  • We are also keen to hear from candidates with experience in Business Services / Advisory who are looking to broaden their expertise in technical tax areas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player attitude and ability to form relationships easily
  • High-level of professionalism, enthusiasm and conscientiousness
