Job Description
What you will do
We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team. The intern will support the Manufacturing Design Team by assisting with projects, developing process flows and conducting data analysis. This role requires strong problems solving skills, attention to detail and proficiency in CAD software. The successful candidate will gain valuable hands on experience while learning about manufacturing design processes.
How you will do it
Collaborate with the manufacturing design team to evaluate existing projects and identify areas for improvement.
Participate in continuous product improvement. • Create high-quality, detailed 3D models and drawings based on designs supplied by the Engineering team.
Interact with production; perform periodic inspections of units under construction
Calculate costs and apply knowledge of materials and engineering principles to create bills of materials (BOMs).
Be involved in many aspects of the business including support for estimating, business development and sales, production improvements and marketing.
What we look for
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to analyse processes and develop efficient workflows.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with engineering tools/software is a plus.
Self‐motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently or in a team environment. Preferred Skills:
Experience with technical documentation or process development.
Familiarity with CAD software. Inventor is a plus.
Basic understanding of engineering department operations and workflows.
