Auto Conversions Limited Trading as Wilker Auto Conversions (Wilker) is one of the leading vehicle converters in Ireland and the UK and is now growing to become an internationally recognised vehicle conversion specialist. It is headquartered in Clara Co. Offaly and also has a production facility in Sandbach, Cheshire UK.

Wilker provides vehicle conversions for the ambulance services, fire services, GARDA and military as well as customised vehicles for the commercial & industrial sectors. Our extensive customer base extends throughout Ireland, England, Scotland & Wales, The Isle of Wight and Jersey, with Exports to Cyprus, Trinidad & Tobago and Abu Dhabi.

Due to our continuous growth into 2024, we are currently recruiting to fill a number of positions within the team at our Manufacturing facility in Clara Co Offaly.

Manufacturing Operatives - Assembly

• These roles are initially for Fixed term contracts, which can progress to full time employment and have great career development opportunities
• The successful applicant must be capable of working on conversion of a wide variety of specialist vehicles and A&E Ambulances.

Experience:

• As a minimum, candidates must have desire to learn and desire to become proficient in the area of vehicle conversions.
• Experience in building purpose built vehicles will be an advantage along with a passion for quality & and delivering skilled workmanship.
• We will also consider applications from trades such as Cabinet / Carpentry making as we also have an in house carpentry shop.
• Working with a large range of materials you will be skilfully crafting purpose-built vehicles such as emergency response vehicles, buses and coaches.
• You'll be a numbers person with an ability to interpret plans and instructions. As well as possessing high technical knowledge you will share a strong interest in design and fabrication of various materials including timber, plastics, glass fibre and steel.

Salary : starting off at €29,000 per annum and depending on experience and aptitude for the job up to €35,000 per annum.
