Auto Conversions Limited Trading as Wilker Auto Conversions (Wilker) is one of the leading vehicle converters in Ireland and the UK and is now growing to become an internationally recognised vehicle conversion specialist. It is headquartered in Clara Co. Offaly and also has a production facility in Sandbach, Cheshire UK.

Wilker provides vehicle conversions for the ambulance services, fire services, GARDA and military as well as customised vehicles for the commercial & industrial sectors. Our extensive customer base extends throughout Ireland, England, Scotland & Wales, The Isle of Wight and Jersey, with Exports to Cyprus, Trinidad & Tobago and Abu Dhabi.

Due to our continuous growth into 2023, we are currently recruiting to fill a number of positions within team at our Manufacturing facility in Clara Co Offaly.

Manufacturing Operative - Electrical

· These roles are initially for Fixed term contracts, which can progress to full time employment and have great career development opportunities.

· The successful applicant must be capable of working on the electronic and electrical systems both 12v and 240v on a wide variety of specialist vehicles and A&E Ambulances.

· We will also consider applications from associated trades ( Auto Mechanics, Electricians etc.) with the right experience.

Experience:

· As a minimum Candidates must have desire to learn and desire to become proficient in the area of electrical wiring of vehicle components and the electrical aspects of vehicle conversions.

· Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability in terms of cable termination ( for example cable stripping, cable crimping - termination ) and cable management (the routing of cables and wiring harnesses)

· It is important to note that full on - the- job training in our electrical conversion processes will be provided by the company for all successful candidates.

· Experience in 12V/ 24V vehicle electrics and electronics is preferable but not essential.

· Similarly experience in 220V electrical work is also beneficial for candidates to have but not essential.

Salary : starting off at €29,000 per annum and depending on experience and aptitude for the job up to €35,000 per annum.
