Scope:
To facilitate production in our Waterford Plant. Ensure operation of equipment to its maximum potential. Ensure safety standards are maintained and are adhered to.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Following of safety standards, safe systems and safe places of work.
Reporting and correcting of any unsafe acts & conditions.
Carry out safety checks as assigned.
Following of policies and procedures including ISO procedures.
Responsible as part of a team for the satisfactory performance and utilisation of production equipment.
The correct production specifications and packaging are utilised and followed.
To record and maintain the necessary quality records.
Achieving and beating KPI targets as set by Management (e.g. efficiency, MOEE.)
To report any kind of deviation in production output.
Aid Leadhand in machine set-up and product changeovers.
To aid in the development of and to keep production records.
Keeping production costs to a minimum.
Materials reconciliation.
Make recommendations for improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
Make safety recommendations.
Maintain high levels of housekeeping.
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent attention to detail with good manual dexterity
Good communication skills
Adaptable and flexible
Ability to work as part of a team
This is a full time permanent position on a 4 cycle shift rotation. Candidates must have availability to work day & night shifts.
