Ipsen in Ireland is represented by a dynamic state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, creating API for our key products.
We are now hiring a Manufacturing Technologist on a 1-year Fixed Term contract basis. The role will be based at the Dublin Manufacturing site and report to the Shift Lead & Manufacturing Managers. No weekend shifts.
The Manufacturing Technologist performs daily Manufacturing operations, as outlined by Shift Lead, with a view to meeting the overall objectives of productivity, timeliness and cost while following GMP and EHS expectations.
Main duties to be performed:
Utilise resources for the performance of the manufacturing plan in the relevant area and contribute to detailed batch schedule plan.
Complete all batch related documentation promptly and accurately
Perform calibration of Manufacturing equipment in the relevant area in conjunction with the maintenance calibration schedule.
Ensure Compliance with site EHS and GMP systems and procedures e.g., Permit to work Systems, Incident/Accident Investigation procedures etc.
This is a vital role to our success, requiring an appropriate scientific qualification and /or a track record in the high-volume manufacturing arena.
