Job Summary
We are seeking one skilled Marine Technician and one apprentice to join our team in maintaining, repairing, and servicing marine vessels, systems and equipment. The candidates will possess mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various tools. The Marine Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and reliability of our marine assets. work area cleanliness, organization and a professional disposition is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on marine vessels and related equipment
• Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools and techniques
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble components
• Conduct troubleshooting to identify malfunctions or potential problems before they escalate
• Maintain records of work performed and parts used
• Assist in the installation of new systems or upgrades on vessels as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on marine or similar equipment
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Prior experience in marine maintenance or related field is preferred but not required
• Must be able to pass any required background checks

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
