We are currently seeking a Yard Assistant to support the daily operations of our yard. This position plays a critical role in our workflow and is essential to keeping our service department running smoothly. The ideal candidate is versatile, reliable, and eager to learn — someone who can truly serve as the “Swiss Army Knife” of our team.

Skills & Requirements

• Proficient in backing up trucks with trailers, including maneuvering in tight or congested areas
• Strong situational awareness with the ability to take direction and adapt quickly
• Confident in parking and positioning boats on trailers in limited‑space environments
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods; this role is 99% outside in all weather conditions
• Winter months shift to more indoor tasks, but candidates must still be prepared for cold‑weather outdoor duties
• Able to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively within a team environment
• High attention to detail when handling tools, equipment, materials, and safety procedures
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for long durations
• Clear communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors

This role follows a consistent 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday. Weekends are typically off; however, we are looking for a candidate who is willing to assist occasionally on a weekend if business needs arise.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
