Marketing Assistant (Part-Time)Visit Waterford

Location: Remote / Work from Home (with occasional travel as required)

Hours: 24 hours per week

About the Role

Visit Waterford is seeking a proactive and organised Marketing Assistant to support the delivery of marketing campaigns, membership development, and stakeholder engagement activities.Reporting to the Manager, the successful candidate will play an important role in promoting Waterford as a leading visitor destination while providing marketing and administrative support across a range of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns
• Support membership recruitment and retention activities
• Contribute to content creation for digital platforms
• Provide marketing and administrative support
• Assist with events and industry engagements as required
• Undertake additional duties in line with organisational objectives

About You

• Qualification and/or experience in marketing, tourism, communications, or a related field
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience with digital marketing and content creation
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Flexible, collaborative, and self-motivated approach
• A keen interest in destination marketing and regional promotion
