Relationships Australia Tasmania (RA Tas) is seeking an innovative and strategic Marketing Communications Specialist to lead the strategic marketing of our organisational priorities . This pivotal, autonomous role offers the opportunity to shape our voice, grow awareness of our services, and make a tangible difference in communities across Tasmania.
You will work closely with leadership and program teams to design and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences. From developing strategic plans to crafting compelling content, you will bring our mission to life across digital and traditional platforms. Your expertise will guide the creation of engaging plans and materials for community engagement activities, websites, media releases, speeches, social media and advocacy work and more, while your analytical skills will help monitor performance and refine strategies. With a strong grasp of marketing tools and a collaborative approach, you will be key to amplifying our message and ensuring our vital services reach those who need them most.
Do you fit the bill
- A Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing communications role, with demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic plans.
- Proven experience managing integrated campaigns across both digital and traditional media.
- Strong project management skills with expertise in campaign delivery, reporting, and performance optimisation.
- Proficiency with modern marketing tools, including Canva, Adobe Suite, WordPress, Google Analytics, and generative AI.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
- Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, and liaison skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to produce compelling content for various channels (speeches, media releases, websites, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience in desktop publishing, website maintenance, and social media management.
- Salary starting from $ 99,540 + Super / *Pro-rata
- Additional PAID leave days (up to 5 per year *pro-rata)
- Up to 4 weeks extra leave per year through our purchased leave scheme
