Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the marketing department in executing various campaigns and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends, excellent research skills, and proficiency in digital marketing tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our brand's growth and visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and implement social media marketing strategies for multiple client accounts across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, WeChat, Xiaohongshu (REDNOTE), and Douyin.
  • Provide full-service managed social media operations for clients, including account planning, content scheduling, and community engagement.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify audience needs, trends, and opportunities for clients’ campaigns.
  • Create and manage content for client accounts, including posts, articles, graphics, short-form videos, and promotional messaging.
  • Manage clients’ WeChat Official Accounts, including article writing, graphics, scheduling, and follower management.
  • Operate client accounts on Xiaohongshu by producing lifestyle-focused content, managing posts, optimizing hashtags, and engaging with users.
  • Produce and optimize short-video content for clients on Douyin to support brand visibility and traffic growth.
  • Advise clients on marketing, advertising, branding, and social media strategies to support their business objectives.
  • Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns for clients across Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, WeChat Ads, and Douyin Ads.
  • Coordinate influencer, KOL, and KOC collaborations for client marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare or assist in preparing public relations materials for clients, including newsletters, promotional content, press releases, and media announcements.
  • Coordinate online or in-person promotional events, campaign launches, or media engagements for clients.
  • Respond to public or media inquiries on behalf of clients when required, providing accurate information related to marketing initiatives or campaigns.
  • Conduct audience or public-opinion research to support marketing and PR strategy development for clients.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics for each client account, including engagement, reach, leads, and conversions.
  • Provide clients with strategic recommendations to optimize ongoing campaigns and improve results.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging, tone, and visual identity across all platforms for every client.
  • Stay current with industry trends, platform updates, digital marketing best practices, and new advertising tools across both Western and Chinese social media ecosystems.

Skills

  • University degrees in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Analysis or a related field.
  • Experience in digital marketing, social media management, or advertising (agency experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Western and Chinese social media platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and content development skills.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and generate actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of online advertising tools such as Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, or WeChat/Douyin advertising platforms is an asset.
  • French language skills are considered an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment.
