About Tonewood Brewing:
Tonewood Brewing is a family-owned brewery based in South Jersey with taprooms in Oaklyn and Barrington. Producing over 15k barrels in 2024 we are in the top 200 craft breweries in the country and one of the largest in New Jersey. We are passionate about crafting quality beer and creating memorable experiences for our community. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a creative and strategic Marketing Director to help elevate our brand and connect with beer lovers across the region.

Job Summary:
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to lead all aspects of Tonewood Brewing’s marketing efforts. This role will oversee branding, events, digital strategy, community engagement, and product marketing. You will work closely with our leadership, taproom, and sales teams to promote our beers, locations, and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement Tonewood’s brand strategy across all platforms.

· Lead marketing campaigns for product launches, seasonal releases, and events.

· Manage all digital channels, including website, social media, newsletter, and e-commerce.

· Collaborate with the Taproom and Sales teams to support promotions, activations, and customer engagement.

· Plan and coordinate on-site and off-site events in alignment with brand goals.

· Oversee graphic design, content creation, and media production (can work with freelancers/vendors).

· Maintain consistent messaging, voice, and visual identity across all customer touchpoints.

· Track and analyze campaign performance and customer engagement to guide future strategies.

· Build and manage relationships with local media, influencers, and community organizations.

· Develop and manage the marketing budget and report on ROI for key initiatives.

Qualifications:

· 3–5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in craft beer, hospitality, or CPG.

· Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, branding, and storytelling.

· Experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, WordPress, and Meta Business Suite.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· A collaborative, flexible approach and passion for craft beer and community.

· Ability to work occasional nights/weekends for events or activations.

Preferred:

· Familiarity with the South Jersey/Philadelphia craft beer scene.

· Basic photography, video, or design skills are a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
