Position Overview
The Marketing & Event Coordinator will be responsible for driving brand awareness, promoting club offerings, and coordinating successful events at Dunegrass Golf Club. This role blends creativity with organization, requiring someone who can manage marketing campaigns, social media, community outreach, and event planning from concept through execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for hospitality and event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Promotions
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the golf course, clubhouse, and special events
  • Manage social media accounts, website updates, and email newsletters
  • Create branded marketing materials including flyers, digital ads, and press releases
  • Build relationships with local businesses and media outlets to enhance community presence
  • Event Coordination
  • Plan, organize, and oversee golf tournaments, weddings, banquets, and corporate events
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from booking through event execution
  • Coordinate event logistics including vendor management, catering, décor, and staff scheduling
  • Ensure high-quality guest experiences and resolve issues promptly
  • Sales & Client Relations
  • Respond to event inquiries and conduct venue tours with prospective clients
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and event outlines
  • Track sales goals and assist in growing event revenue through new bookings and repeat business
  • Administrative & Team Support
  • Maintain event calendars and coordinate with culinary, grounds, and service staff
  • Monitor marketing and event budgets to ensure cost-effective operations
  • Provide post-event reports and feedback to improve future events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or hospitality (golf industry experience a plus)
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in social media management and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe, or similar)
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by events

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
