The Marketing & Events Coordinator plays a central role in delivering Bright & Duggan groups marketing and events function. This position supports the execution of national marketing campaigns across Bright & Duggan and its associated brands, ensuring all activity aligns with overarching brand and marketing objectives.
The role contributes to strengthening brand consistency and recognition, supporting high‑impact national campaigns, and working collaboratively across the business to deliver cohesive and engaging marketing and event outcomes.
This opportunity will suit a highly organised, proactive and creative individual with excellent time‑management skills, strong written and verbal communication, and hands‑on experience in planning and delivering marketing initiatives and events.
About the role:
Marketing
- Support the delivery of Bright & Duggan’s digital marketing strategy across website/SEO, SEM, social media and email marketing.
- Create, update and schedule content across websites, social channels, EDMs and internal and external communication platforms.
- Produce clear, high‑quality marketing content that aligns with brand guidelines and engages key audiences.
- Manage product and Google reviews.
- Develop marketing collateral and coordinate the ordering of branded merchandise.
- Assist in developing event concepts and campaign themes aligned with Bright & Duggan’s brand identity.
- Develop and maintain the events calendar in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal and external events, supporting all stages from concept and planning through to on‑site execution.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and event attendees.
- Liaise with venues, suppliers and internal teams to ensure events are delivered seamlessly, on time and within budget.
- Provide general administrative, marketing and communications support across campaigns and marketing platforms.
- Support continuous improvement of processes to enhance workflow efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness.
- Maintain reporting to support planning, tracking and review cycles.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar marketing and/or events role.
- Demonstrated experience in event planning, with strong organisational and time‑management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with hands‑on design and content editing experience (e.g. Canva).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using email marketing platforms (e.g. Campaign Monitor) and website content management systems (e.g. WordPress).
- Proactive problem‑solver with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and autonomously.
