Responsibilities

  • Lead & Inspire Design Team: Supervise a team of 4-5 designers, guiding and motivating them to produce cohesive, creative, and innovative design solutions for vehicle wraps, interactive projects, and branding initiatives.
  • Client Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact between the design team and clients, ensuring clear communication of client visions and expectations. Transform these insights into compelling and effective design concepts.
  • Design Process Management: Oversee the entire design process from concept to execution, ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within scope.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing and interactive technology teams to ensure that designs are feasible, align with production capabilities, and maintain high-quality standards throughout.
  • Trend Integration: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in graphic design, vehicle wraps, and interactive technology, and incorporate these into the team’s design work to keep our offerings fresh and innovative.
  • Project Coordination: Effectively manage multiple client accounts, ensuring that all project details are accurate and deadlines are met. Coordinate with internal teams and resources to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
  • Organization & Reporting: Keep all client and project documentation organized, ensuring accurate follow-ups, scheduling, quoting, approvals, and status reports. Provide clear updates on project progress to leadership and clients.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance brand visibility and consistency across all platforms.
  • Foster Creative Culture: Cultivate a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning within the design team, ensuring that all team members grow and stay motivated to innovate.
  • Client-Facing Communication: Handle client feedback and revisions professionally, maintaining a solution-oriented attitude and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Prioritize & Manage Workflow: Effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all design work is completed on time and to the highest standard, even under pressure.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of vehicle wrap design, branding, and interactive design technology.
  • Strong understanding of typography and visual design principles.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma.
  • Experience with UI design and creating user-friendly interfaces is preferred.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation techniques is a plus.
  • Knowledge of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in marketing or branding projects will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to team members and clients.
  • Experience in design management, leading small teams (4-5 designers) in a fast-paced creative environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise between clients and internal teams effectively.
  • A passion for design with the ability to inspire creativity and maintain high standards within your team.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong leadership abilities, fostering a positive, solution-oriented culture within your team and with clients.
  • Knowledge of design trends, and the ability to integrate modern techniques and tools into your team's workflow.

MUST HAVE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE - Only candidates with proven experience in managing and leading a team will be considered for this role. Your ability to guide, motivate, and effectively manage a team is crucial to the success of this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
