Your New Role

As part of a ‘best in class’ pan-nordic Marketing team, the territory Marketing Manager role constantly strives to maximize revenue and awareness for our feature films, drive market share and ensure WB’s position as an industry leader. You are in charge of all Theatrical Marketing activities in your respective country, by implementing impactful and successful marketing campaign strategies and making sure they are executed in the most powerful way.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • You will have direct responsibility for the planning, implementation and evaluation of all theatrical film marketing efforts in your specific territory. You ensure the campaign adapts global positioning to the local culture. You are the local expert within Marketing in your country.
  • You will be responsible for organizing the planning process, including analysis of competitive titles, creative development and overall campaign execution.
  • Day to day management of the media agency dedicated to WB’s business. In addition to an excellent relationship with the media agency, retain good working relationships with key media partners in your territory.
  • A particular expertise and focus on Data and Performance Signals to optimize campaigns on a ‘real time’ basis, is vital in this role.
  • You’re a true team player who works closely with the Nordic Marketing team, as well as our local and Nordic Distribution teams. You collaborate especially closely with our Nordic Publicity function and our Nordic Promotions Manager to localize and maximize these areas within your market.
  • You will also collaborate with marketing teams across other business lines. At times, you may support projects outside your specific title portfolio when they contribute to broader company goals. You’ll be involved in franchise and cross‑divisional strategy and play an active role in initiatives that require close coordination with other divisions around key theatrical releases.
  • Another important area is to build and maintain excellent relationships with local exhibition partners, ensuring WB is industry leading when it comes to our trade marketing efforts.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Solid experience in film marketing – developing and implementing marketing campaigns.
  • Fluent in Finnish and English
  • A strategic head as well as an organized mind, able to handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage media buying with strategic clarity – you will be able to make and drive decisions about buying different kinds of media with emphasis in OOH and digital.
  • A track record of using social media (including influencer marketing) as a critical part of campaigns, with an understanding of tracking effectiveness in this area.
  • Demonstrates a high level of commercial and financial acumen with experience in managing a P&L.
  • Highly competent with business analytical systems and processes.
  • Ability to inspire stakeholders inside and external to the company.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication- and presentation skills, and you enjoy being on-stage representing the company.
  • You are a savvy PPT creator and getting the details right comes naturally for you.
  • Displays confidence with senior management.
